What problems should be dealt with in the backfilling of GCL?If the GCL is backfilled, how should the construction be carried out, and what are the requirements during construction? As a professional GCL manufacturer, today, let's learn with you about what issues should be dealt with when backfilling GCL construction?
Backfill construction is a very critical link to ensure the waterproof effect of the GCL. It must meet the following requirements: 1) After the construction of the GCL, the backfill construction must be completed on the same day (up to not more than two days). 2) It is recommended to use sand or sieved soil for all backfill soil. The soil must not contain stones and other debris over 10mm. 3) When the backfill soil is backfilled with a thickness of 50 cm, it must be compacted (or compacted, vibrated, etc.), and the density of the backfill soil must be greater than 85%. 4) During the process of tamping and compaction, care should be taken not to damage the waterproof blanket, and if damaged, it should be repaired as required. 5) In normal backfilling, the thickness of backfill soil after tamping is ≥30cm.
