Construction site stacking of geosynthetic clay liner(GCL)
① The ground on which the geosynthetic clay liner(GCL) are stacked should be flat, and no low-lying water can be stored. During storage, the ground is lifted by overhead method, generally recommended to be 20cm above the ground, and the bottom is lifted with sleepers or other things to effectively dredge the accumulated water and prevent the bentonite pad from being damp and waterproof, resulting in abnormal use.
② Cover with plastic cloth or waterproof cloth, and fix the cover with a rope to prevent the cover from being blown away by the wind and rain from seeping in. A rainproof shed can also be set up on the construction site, covered with plastic film and other covering materials, and buckled on the top of the shed, allowing it to be ventilated and not buckled around the shed to protect the bentonite mat from direct rain.
③ Waterproof, moisture-proof and strong sunlight-proof. Sunscreen canopies can be erected on the construction site with tarpaulins protected from ultraviolet rays.
